Their lives used to make sense. Their lives used to have a purpose. Sure, that purpose was acting as knives for the government's covert operations, but it was something.
Once the army's black operation known as Judgement Call is shut down, Olive, Khan, and the other teenage members of the operations have to try and learn to fit in again.
But being normal isn't half as easy as it seems, especially when you've spent your entire life being trained to be anything but normal. And when someone starts targeting the members of the group for unknown reasons, they once again have to use the skills they've all been trying to ignore
"Would you not do that, Cupcake?" He moaned.
"Cupcake, really? We escalated to pet names?" I said annoyed.
"Well you haven't confirmed your name, so yeah." He responded getting up.
"Fine if it means you'll stop calling me Cupcake, my name's Marie." I told him.
"Good to know Cupcake." He smirked.
I just rolled my eyes and turned back towards the classroom.
"Hey does it look like I was done talking to you?"
"Does it look like I care?" I asked turning back to the classroom.
