That may not be in the order of how someone should count, but it's the order of my patience wearing out.
------------------------------------------
He didn't have any traits that would draw him to any girl. Maybe it was the fact that his big, black-rimmed glasses wouldn't allow girls to see through his honey brown eyes. Or what if it was his shy personality that made everyone think he was an alien. His way of getting around life without actually having to socialize or speak out loud proved that he was something peculiar, but not as strange as anybody would have guessed. Whatever it was, it was enough for girls to stay away from him, at least that's what she thought.

She had many quirks and traits that did draw her to guys. Maybe it was the fact that her turquoise eyes allowed men to believe that she was a gullible girl. Or what if her natural beauty that radiated off her just seemed to make everyone drawn to her. Whatever it was, it was enough for people to like every single trait about her. Well, that's what he thought.

Both lived in completely different worlds, she was always holding on to the past and never looking at the future. He was holding onto the present, and never wanting to look at the future. She didn't like the idea of change. He didn't like the idea of a future.
That doesn't mean that they were best friends, it just meant that they were two strangers wandering through their first year of college, acting like they knew what they were doing.
Join one of the most awkward yet curious girls ever, and the not so shy guy-even if he seems shy- as they go through the life of a freshman university student, with romance, of course, your average sarcastic girl.
And who knows, maybe they might go through their first year with zero drama, live the perfect college life every student wants and go through a sophomore year like no biggie

That ain't happening

*now available on all retailers* Amber How do you politely refuse when the only guy to star in any of your dirty fantasies has just offered to put you up for the foreseeable future and your brother's just accepted like you were in fact still thirteen and couldn't make decisions for yourself? You don't. And, you end up with a roommate who wears a very good elegant mask over the rough and tumble, bad boy core I remember far too well. Only, it's ten years later and I'm even nerdier than I used to be. It's ten years later and I couldn't look worse. It's ten years later and I can't keep one guy. It's ten years later and my brother still teases me mercilessly in front of him. It's ten years later and Kit somehow looks even better than the guy I spent my formative years crushing on. Except, there might just be a smouldering heat in Kit's eyes that suggests he's not quite as out of my league as I thought. Just maybe, this geek is about to get a whole lot of chaos. Kit When I find out about my best mate's little sister's situation, the offer is out of my mouth before I can stop it; Hawk's like a brother to me even if Amber's never looked twice at me. I could never tell if she was scared of me or hated me. But the deal is done. She's going to bring her bedraggled self upstairs to my penthouse and live with me for as long as she needs. I see the pain she hides away, I see the lack of confidence despite how smart she is, how good. If there's something I've learned, it's that confidence makes all the difference. So, it becomes my mission to help Amber find her confidence. But I find more than confidence in her and suddenly I'm seeing my best mate's little sister completely differently. Except, there might be something in the way she smiles at me that gives me hope I'm not as far out of her league as I thought. It might just be time that this chaos gets a little geek.

"He seemed like a puzzle to me, and I really liked solving puzzles. But somehow, I don't think that I would ever be able to solve this one." Amelia Heart, with her large smile and her infectious laugh, is what most people would think has the perfect life. They would watch as she went back to her beach house, as she went out of her way to stop and chat to her neighbours, as she would get the perfect grades. She was everything you wanted to be, and yet nobody had gotten close enough to her to understand her life in this small town at all. When her plans of leaving suddenly change, and she is forced to start attending the local school, her life takes a route that she hadn't accounted for. A new group of friends, a chance at a normal teenage life, even a potential love interest - things that Amelia had never even thought about happening after everything she'd been through. But happiness is only temporary in her life, and she knew that. It wasn't surprising to her when her past began to catch up with her present, it was simply a good thing that it had taken as long as it had. Things start happening in Amelia's life that simply don't make sense, even to her. They do say you should always keep an eye over your shoulder, especially when you know you're being hunted, but for Amelia, even an eye in every direction wouldn't be enough. Time begins counting down, fast. Did she want to involve her friends? Could the new people in her life be trusted? She wouldn't have long to make a decision. Not before her world comes blazing down, the final battle on the horizon. Tick, tock, Amelia. You don't want to be late to the party when you're the guest of honour. COMPLETED 06/11/20

Emalia Our friendship had only lasted a month, then he was gone. I accepted it and moved on with my life having greater things to worry about. It's been 365 days and everyday I've lived it with the purpose of making my world safe enough for her. Enemies are still out there but I have full intention of using every resource and power available to protect her so now I've come to collect her. With a marriage contract in hand and 365 million dollars to convince her, I make her on offer she can't refuse. ⋆*・゚:⋆*・゚☾ ⋆*・゚:⋆*・゚☾ ⋆*・゚:⋆*・゚ Alaric's POV "Make sure you stay inside the lines." She orders me well flipping to the next page of her magazine. I look up, ready to glare at her, only to find she's happily humming, her eyes skimming the page. Unable to control myself, I see my body moving to do what she's asked. "What color did you say you want?" I ask, looking at the shit ton of nail polishes. She draws her eyes away from the magazine to meet mine. I find that I love the feel of her eyes on me; find myself doing what she wants simply to make her happy. She looks at the colors and I look at her. She brings the pink one "What do you think?" I nod in agreement taking it from her, lingering my fingers on her's for longer then needed. (WARNING: This is my first story btw. Some parts may be cringe or toxic, but I don't feel like changing anything at the moment) I watched as he frustratingly ran his hand through his jet black hair as he let out an loud sigh. "Axarii I do not have the patience for your childishness. I can no longer trust you therefore we're getting an divorce." He stated. That just ended my mood. "What! That girl doesn't even look like me, are you fucking blind? My boobs are not even that big! Just imagine Winston and I together, that's impossible." I screeched out and grabbed onto him. I mentally cursed at myself as I felt tears threatening to escape from my hideous eyes. I'm an ugly crier. He roughly pulled his arm out of my grasp. "I want you and your things out of here by tonight and at the company to sign the papers in the morning." "You can't be serious! How can you not believe me, your own wife over some damn fake pictures?" I looked at him only to see him blankly staring at me, not responding. I roughly wiped my eyes before any tears could escape. He would not see me cry. "I'll go but you'll just have to throw away or burn the clothes that you bought for me because I don't need anything from you." I mumbled as I turned away and headed for the stairs. "I don't need a wife that claims she has love for me when all she wants is to be around other men instead of her own husband." I continued to walk up the stairs, not bothering to reply to what he said, not bothered to wipe the tears knowing that he cannot see them. **** #2 ex - March 2024 #12 dominate - September 2023 #6 funny - November 2024 #1 darkness - November 2023 #5 plottwist - November 2023 #2 exwife- November 2024

Two broken souls in the midst of a crazy world. Two souls running away from their past. There was no light at the end of the tunnel. The tunnel was cracking, slowly closing in. When these two connect, as if they were set on the same path, light creeps in through the cracks, and for or a moment, the tunnel seems to have a way out, but what if it collapses before they make it? - "You saved my life." The words come out as a whisper, I've been dying to say that. I thank god every day that he came into my life when he did. "Fuck Vivian, you don't know how much I needed you." I tear up just a little as he speaks, I don't know the last time I cried happy tears. I bring my hands up to cup his cheeks, resting my forehead against his. "No matter how much I push, I don't mean it. Please don't give up on me." My words seem to relieve him in some way as I feel his shoulders relax. "Even when I'm gone, I'll be by your side, forever." He brings his hand, sticking his pinky out. "pinky promise."I wrap mine around his, placing a kiss on his lips. Warning before you read!! This is my first book! This book will contain topics of SA, eating disorders, and mature content, if any of these things may bother you in anyway, please scroll! I hope when I finish this book I can public a clean version, with a different perspective leaving out these topics, but for now, this is how i've envisioned this story to go! Enjoy -Ash🌸

"Who do you think you are, dude?" Levi spits, getting in Jack's face. "Look, Scarlett was just helping me out with a proj-" "I'm not your dude," Jack bites, and I want to tear my hair out of my head. "Hey, you don't get to come in here and start ordering her around," Levi says harshly. "You don't control her." "And you think that you do?" Jack spits. ♔ When Scarlett moved off to college, she hoped to start anew and find her way in this world alone. Two problems.
