One Two Three Three-point-five Six That may not be in the order of how someone should count, but it's the order of my patience wearing out. ------------------------------------------ He didn't have any traits that would draw him to any girl. Maybe it was the fact that his big, black-rimmed glasses wouldn't allow girls to see through his honey brown eyes. Or what if it was his shy personality that made everyone think he was an alien. His way of getting around life without actually having to socialize or speak out loud proved that he was something peculiar, but not as strange as anybody would have guessed. Whatever it was, it was enough for girls to stay away from him, at least that's what she thought. She had many quirks and traits that did draw her to guys. Maybe it was the fact that her turquoise eyes allowed men to believe that she was a gullible girl. Or what if her natural beauty that radiated off her just seemed to make everyone drawn to her. Whatever it was, it was enough for people to like every single trait about her. Well, that's what he thought. Both lived in completely different worlds, she was always holding on to the past and never looking at the future. He was holding onto the present, and never wanting to look at the future. She didn't like the idea of change. He didn't like the idea of a future. That doesn't mean that they were best friends, it just meant that they were two strangers wandering through their first year of college, acting like they knew what they were doing. Join one of the most awkward yet curious girls ever, and the not so shy guy-even if he seems shy- as they go through the life of a freshman university student, with romance, of course, your average sarcastic girl. And who knows, maybe they might go through their first year with zero drama, live the perfect college life every student wants and go through a sophomore year like no biggie That ain't happening

"For a place called Paradise City, this island sucks. I don't think a single day has gone by that I haven't thought about stabbing the shit out of myself," he said. "Especially since I'm forced to live with you every second of every day." "Sh. I'm trying to science," I said, not looking up from my binoculars. "See anything interesting?" "Not really. My vision's a little clouded from the fog and rain clouds you constantly emit." He laughed. "You never fail to amuse me, Rea." "But you just said-" "I just said you make me want to stab myself. Interpret that however you'd like." With a love for whales and all life (besides maybe humans), Reagan Winebrenner had never even seen an ocean until her senior year in high school. But the moment she saw her first humpback, she knew she had found her passion and future career. A few years later and an invitation to Paradise City in hand, Reagan has her entire summer laid out for her, working on the project of a lifetime. But with five other students completing their projects as well, will they discover something worthwhile, or will they end up a psychology lesson for future generations? A New Adult Watty Winner 2019
