My Promise (BNHA)

One day, 50 children went missing. They were all taken by an organization of assassins called the Dragoons. They were placed in a facility and forced to endure brutal training and torture to become the organization's next generation. I was one of them at the age of 4.

If you were too weak, you would be tossed away like yesterday's trash and die. If you tried to run, you'd eventually get caught and killed. Some even committed suicide to escape this torture. After 9 years, we were finally saved and freed, but only 3 of us were left.

The entire incident was covered up. We were all broken, but only two of us were completely messed up. I had a reason to stay strong. I made a promise that I will keep.

"If I die and you get out of here, will you promise me something?"

"What?" My hair covered my eyes and tears streamed down my face. 'Please don't ever leave me!'

"Please...protect and take care of my little brother. He should be around the same age as you. And give my family this." He hands me a picture of him holding his little brother with his parents smiling in the background and attached to it on the back were letters for each member of his family.

"....All right. What's his name and address?"

He gives me a piece of paper. "Here. This is the address and my little brother's name...is Kirishima Eijirou."
