I wasn't looking for anyone. Definitely not some half-dead guy bleeding out in the woods. But hey, life's been full of surprises lately. Like how I graduated with no plans, no future, and no one in my corner (certainly not my parents)- unless you count my best friend Kayla and a lot of quiet resentment. Then there was him. Croagin. Not quite human, not quite explainable, and apparently really into giving away dangerous secrets to girls who make bad choices in the forest. Now I'm somewhere that's not home, wrapped up in something ancient and messy and magical, with creatures that don't like me and two guys who might destroy each other - or me - if I'm not careful. All I ever wanted was to be seen. Turns out someone finally did. A dark, sharp-tongued fantasy about unwanted magic, complicated boys, and what happens when invisibility stops being safe.

For most of my life, I was basically invisible. I could've jumped off a building yelling, "Hey guys, I'm going to jump!" and the world would've just... kept scrolling. I wasn't depressed or anything - just tired of being unnoticed. It would've been nice if someone, anyone, looked my way. But after a while, I got used to it. No attention meant no distractions. No judgment. Just me, my cat, cookies, and my best friend Naomi against the world. My plan was simple: survive high school, glow up in college, find my Prince Charming, and drive off into the sunset in a pink Volkswagen Beetle. (Don't judge me. That's my dream car.) But then he showed up. Alexander Collins - the new kid. Arrogant, annoying, frustratingly good-looking. The kind of boy who ruins your peace just by existing. Somehow, he's made it his life mission to get under my skin. And even though I swear I hate him... part of me can't help but wonder if maybe being noticed by him isn't so bad. --------- This is my first story, I hope you enjoy it. I'll be honestly I'm not good at writing at ALL, but I've been wanting to pick up a hobby So I apologize in advance for my terrible grammar, and for most likely a cringy book. But I hope you enjoy:) #romcom #romance #comedy #YAlove #adultromance
