And you've held us both together, even when you were on the verge of falling apart. I don't think anyone is as strong as you. Even when life decides to throw you through the depths of hell and back, you come through better. Stronger. Not many people can do that.'

Tears swim in my eyes, and my lips support a weak smile. 'When did you become so wise?'

He chuckles; drowns the rest of his wine in one long sip. 'When life decided it would be fun to screw with me.'

Meet Cassia Matthew. Sister to Jonas Matthew and the daughter to deceased Dave and Mary Matthew.

A year and a half ago, Cassie was the victim of a horrible accident which left her with the inability to speak.

Now she's in her last year of highschool, and she's hoping to get through it with her head down.

Smug, egotistic, rides a motorcycle and extremely sarcastic. Well, if you miss the fuzzy interior and teddy bear personality buried beneath all that.
