This story moves round a girl named Aleyador who is taken by a tinsmith's evil wife when her daughter, Sedane, is burned and killed; she knows the half-blind tinsmith must kill her for burning his daughter alive for entertainment.
When the wife brings Aleyador into the house, the half-blind smith accepts her as his daughter.
Each night, when the tinsmith is out to work, the wife throws Aleyador into the attic, the place where Sedane was burned.
