Sapphira Fox and Remus Lupin knew each other since Sapphira was born. They grew up together. Sapphira was there when Remus got bit, but called for Lyall and defended herself not getting bit or scratched once. Remus is always happy when Sapphira helps him when it is close to the full moon. Remus and Sapphira hate being apart from each other. That is why they both were happy when she got a letter from Dumbledore when she was ten.
When they get to Hogwarts they make friends. The Marauders; James Potter, Sirius Black, Peter Pettigrew, and Remus Lupin; become famous pranksters. Sapphira stands up against bullying.
Remus' friends, besides Sapphira, tell him about a fox who was beside his werewolf self, Moony.

"You've been acting weird all semester and honestly if I didn't know better, I'd say you have a crush on Remus." James laughed and Sirius just about died." There's not a ton of Peter in this mainly because I don't like him and it's my story soo. ***Abuse, self harm, homophobia, depression, and death, are all talked about so far warning. Also there may be sex scenes but I'll try to remember and put a warning up before hand so you can skip if want** I'm going to go into their life after Hogwarts and during the war hopefully but we'll see how far I get haha.
