Harry was in his 4th year when he started questioning Dumbledore's motives. How could he allow someone to so easily put Harry's name in the goblet of fire? Better yet, if he was friends with Moody for so long, how did he not noticed it was someone polyjuiced?
In 5th year, after Harry had taken Umbridge to the forbidden forest, something caught his eye. Was that a centaur? No, it couldn't be, it had horns of a male deer and the fu r of a fawn... his face still looked human though. He ditched the others in favor of following the creature, curiosity getting the better of him. Nothing could have prepared him for the events that were about to take place.
