Katherine King and Cole Rose used to be the best of friends. You see Katherine was an outcast and you were basically committing social suicide by hanging out with her but Cole didn't care.

Cole was always there for her, he always stood up for her, he was always her shoulder to cry on and always made her laugh when she was feeling down.

That all ended the day he got a beating for sticking up to a jock. That's the day he betrayed her. The day he broke his promise. The day he turned his back in her. The day he broke her heart.

The bullying got worse and Katherine fell into a deep depression and started self harming. Then one day he pushed her over the edge and she tried to kill herself.

After the incident Katherine decided to live with her father in Arizona. She promised herself she would never go back and face those monsters again.

Two years later and completely transformed, Katherine is forced to move back and help take care of her grandmother after her grandfather dies.
