20 year old Skyler Andrews has always dreamed of a big white wedding. Since she was 4, she had constantly been obssessed with weddings and dressing up, but these things were only for her to imagine. At the age of 11, her father's life had expired, leaving them with nothing but sorrow and heartache. They were just a normal family before, they were happy. A smile hasn't crept up on their faces for years. They have no money, and it's difficult in finding a job, her mother hasn't had to work before the death of her husband. Skyler's mother-Haley Andrews, thinks her daughter is finally at that age where she could be getting married. She wants to find a rich man, but Skyler thinks otherwise when she meets who she thinks could be her true love. This man isn't rich at all, in fact-he's the exact opposite.
