louis and harry love each other and they don't care what anyone says. despite the beer, cigarettes, and pot that seems to be disappearing, their love never seems to. having to overcome struggles with self-mutilation, alcoholism, money issues, fighting with one another's families, being ridiculed for being gay, and a few suicide attempts; louis and harry feel as if they're invincible. but will soon come to discover that maybe it isn't so easy being young dumb and broke.
