"What are you planning to do?" The male asked, curling in his poisonous barbed tail. The females grey eyes fell upon the males black, her tail and some of her scales shifting from one color to another before finally blending back to the desert sand.
"Well," She started, "I'm going to go beyond the Oasis." The Male looked at her, wide eyed but could tell she was completely serious. With a sigh he knew it was too late to change her mind.
