"M... maybe someday I'll come back," she paused breaking eye contact with me to peer down at the ground. I saw a silent tear run down her now mascara stained cheeks, before looking into my eyes once again. Her big, brown eyes looking my now emotionless body up and down. "and maybe one day we can be together,". She told me trying to keep her emotions together, even though I could see how easily she was falling apart!

I pulled her close trying to let her know that she wasn't alone but she pulled away and walked off. I stood there, alone, broken and emotionless. Why do I always seem to break everything in my path?
