As a child, Emmet never liked people. People were complicated and selfish. If someone was nice to you it was suspicious, because they always wanted something in return. At 8 Emmet ran away from the orphanage he was raised in.

For two years Emmet has survived on the streets. Fighting the local gangs for his own turf of space to live on, and made a name for himself. No one had heard his real name, but plenty had seen him or heard of him.

The go-to Street Urchin. Need money stolen or mysteriously placed? That's who you go to. Need a lock picked, or maybe an alarm taken care of? Guess what? You know who to look for. It's simply a matter of actually finding him that will make your request mean anything.

What will our Street Urchin do if he is found by people who do not care for him? Or worse, what will he do if those he's made enemies of find him? Trust me - those enemies are higher up on the food chain than he is, and he knows it.

But there is always a chance he will find friends among strangers. Just, probably not in the way he expected.
