Her father looked at her as if asking about her acceptance. She smiled a reassuring smile at him, easing his worries.
Soon the families got busy with the marriage dates and arrangements.
She was sitting at a corner thinking about the drastic turn, her life is about to take. She was thinking if she did a mistake by accepting the proposal.
Her thoughts were broken by a person fake coughing to grab her attention. She looked at him in annoyance. Asking him to say whatever he came to say by her eyes.
He took a deep breath before speaking up,"Thank you for accepting this proposal. And I am sorry for forcing you into this. But I can promise you that I will never do anything to hurt you willingly in future."
She looked into his eyes to search any sign of playfulness in them. But the genuineness of his eyes shocked her.
At that moment she thought that maybe just maybe it wasn't that much of a mistake at all.
