It was like we were playing a sick game of chess, trying to guess each others movement's and at the same time, worrying about our own. I didn't have a choice and was forced to say "Game on bitch." -------------------------------- Life for Juniper was never easy, even as a child. Her family was complicated, and she herself has always suffered from mental illneses that made her days hard enough as it was, not just for her but for her drug addict skitzophrenic father and bipolar alcoholic mother. As she kept growing up, the world around her became darker and darker until, at the age of sixteen, a man with a dark shadow and distorted, spine chilling voice infiltrated her nightmares, with the promise to bring her agony and pain if she did not do as he said. Now, Juniper is forced to act fast, for her life hangs by a thread. She must uncover the truth of her past, look past the lies of her parents and her own childhood, and fill in the blanks whilst dealing with loud voices in her head, shadows that follow her every move, and a man who she must obey in order to save her sanity, her life and herself. The question still remains, who is this strange man who threatens her very existence? Will she be able to stop him before he kills her, before he traps her in the darkness forever? Will she whistand the torture, will she handle it all? Or will she snap, will she bend and break like her father did, and his father before him? Because, after all, we are all fragile humans, there is only so much we can take. -------------------------------- * Contains swearing, may be triggering and is undergoing mayor editing . * Best Ranking: #1- Skitsofrenia #2- Alluring

20 year old Raven Love lives under the alias of Robin Kincaid, a young woman living a life that's somehow far from normal and yet she hides behind a picket fence with her party-loving friend in tow. After stashing her memories away inside of her head Raven has had to move to the city of Yvres, a place filled with a turmoil that she could never have imagined. On the run from an organisation that wants her dead as well as trying to hide from the rest of her past she finally thinks that Yvres might be the one place where she's safe. Turns out her hopes don't exactly pan out and she must eventually face her fears, own up to her responsibility and face the call that has her forever trapped. Then she meets Asher Ravendale, someone who seems to know far too much about her but is equally as inquisitive as he is knowledgeable. He brings some fun to her unusually drab life and could just be the one to help her out of this mess that's drowning her. But Asher has secrets of his own, secrets that he isn't exactly authorised to tell her, but what happens when the enemy shows up, willing to throw the world into a tailspin just to have the last laugh. Raven needs to put the last piece into the puzzle, unaware that she is that piece, the piece that must solve everything despite not fitting the mould of a typical Faerie Warrior, a Kinari, a solider of light. The last Kinari, with the call of the Ouri drawing her closer to where she needs to be; calling her to become what she needs to be in order to face her greatest enemy.

After her Gran fell ill and passed away, Brigid wasn't able to keep her grandmother's metaphysical shop going. With everything crashing down around her, Brigid buys a one-way ticket to the land of her ancestors, hoping to find solace in the old cabin where her Gran grew up. Ireland is everything she was always told it was and then some. As she sorts out the slowly declining house in the woods, she's thrust into the path of handsome Torin Boyle by circumstance. The walls she's built up around her heart are slowly chipped away as Torin reveals pieces of himself as well, opening not only his home but his heart too. As a pack of wolf Shifters in a country that has no natural wolves, Torin has learned to keep a tap on his inner emotions to protect those he loves. But his homeland is dying; small patches of forest turning brown and dry. When a witch appears on his family's land out of nowhere, he's concerned that the witch is to cause for what's been happening to the land. He never expected to feel pulled into her orbit so completely. Brigid's idyllic life comes to a halt when Torin's father falls ill, closely followed by other members of the Shifter's family. The land around them - the very land where Brigid's ancestors lived - is dying. If Brigid and Torin can't figure out how to fix it, she might not be the only one losing those she loves. **Trigger Warnings - mentions of hospitals and death/cancer; loosing loved ones**

Waking up face down in mud sucks any day of the week. But coming around in the sludge of a strange realm...? Well, that just redefines a bad day altogether. Trapped in an unfamiliar world, sixteen-year-old Quinn is frustrated that none of the strange Tree People appreciate his urgency to get back home to earth. Now he is faced with a choice that could change the course of his life: escape and find his own way home, or stay and help them find the cause of the poison ravishing their world. When the mind-reader unlocks one of the ancient mysteries of the Tree People it points to the only way of saving them from annihilation: they have to find the Power of Light. What exactly that means, the mind-reader doesn't reveal, but his next warning comes as a shock to all present: finding the mysterious Power of Light can only be done with the help of the dangerous enemy tribe whom they once called family. Quinn soon finds himself a little more entangled in the lives of these gifted beings than he'd care to be. Especially after meeting Jazz: the feisty girl from his world who seems to be a regular visitor to the world of Zoay. To Quinn's constant frustration, the aqua-eyed pixie makes it clear that she's not there to make friends. On their journey they'll brave bizarre encounters in dangerous alien forests, while sacrificing pride and will for the survival of all. Along the way Quinn finds more than he ever thought to seek: purpose, fulfillment and love. When the Power of Light is finally found a devastating discovery is made: if all of Zoay-including their enemy-want to live and prosper, one must be willing to sacrifice their life.
