You stared at the yellow doors, hesitant. The rumors floated around your mind, like someone was saying it into your ear. Shaking the thoughts away, you placed a hand on one of the doors.

you were one of the few lucky orphans who got to go to an actual school. due to more and more kids coming, you were sent to a different orphanage. then you started hearing the rumors days before you started school.

the rumors all stated the same thing. whoever walked into that schoolhouse couldn't leave. it was also rumored that people couldn't age physically here as well, but that seemed made-up.
