Cecily Cavanaugh spent one wild weekend in Rangers End and it cost her one well-paying job, her luxury apartment and her girlish figure. Now, she's back, pregnant and broke, to live in the falling down house she bought on a whim. And if she happens to run into Chase-or was it Chaz-she'll tell him about the baby. Chase McBride planned nothing more than delivery of the new Rangers End wedding gazebo, so his surprise at running into Cecily in the middle of the town square is justified, at least he thinks so. Finding out she's pregnant with his baby-and finding it out while his great aunt and her cronies look on-now that isn't something he could have planned if he tried. Instead of telling her he hadn't stopped thinking about her, hadn't dated because no one else measures up, he lets her leave, watches her drive away. On the advice of Aunt Lucia and the gut feeling that letting Cecily go is a move he'll live to regret, he has no choice but to find her and no matter what, make sure she knows how he feels.
