Satsuki Shiroshi is Kageyama's childhood friend, a long forgotten girl by him since she left him during their middle school years. The reason behind her disappearance was unknown, yet she is back. As a student of Karasuno High School and one of the freshmans, she tries to cope with the fact of seeing her childhood friend once again and joining the school's volleyball team as a subtitute coach, this time.

But, what happens when Satsuki is called "Queen of the Court" by everyone around her? What is hiding behind her mysterious disappearance? And why Kageyama doesn't want to be called a "King"? 

Trying to forget about the past they shared makes them fall harder for each other.
