The Perfect Colors

He has awful OCD and can't write because of how bad it is. She has synesthesia or as he calls it, "the color thing," and is screwed up after moving away from everyone she loved for college which she ultimately dropped out of. He sees her at this cliff where he goes to write and she asks him about his notebook. It's pristine but almost every single page is filled. She likes the color because it reminds her of calm and so she asks where he got it. This sparks their relationship. Without her, he can't write. She is his muse, his ability to write and control his OCD. Without him, she's alone. She's happy again, the yellow that she hasn't been in such a long time. They work perfectly with each other. But what happens when he is trying so hard to make their relationship perfect? He can't make their relationship perfect because life isn't perfect. Usually, the girl can manage and help his OCD, but this is one thing she can't fix. He dives into his writing and starts pushing her away, ignoring texts, canceling plans, not answering the door. She attempts to fix him. Nothing in life can be perfect unless they are colors.
