I anticipated every breath, and every word. Each day, you could only take an uneducated guess at what he would say. What he would do.

My heart tremor as he leaned in.

"I was wrong, sweetheart. I was so wrong," he whispered, the words tickling my ears. "Because with you, there are no doubts. Only love, so, so much love. And, I will spend every single day, every minute, and every fucking second proving that I deserve it."

                                                   ***

Kimberly Wrighton, the new girl who is desperate to make it through her senior year with as little issue as possible. The girl with a diary containing her insecurities, her secrets, and her true self.

Kade Ryder, the typical popular guy who feeds off of fights, anger, and violence. The guy that gets whatever he wants, no matter who or what he has to destroy in order to get it. The bad boy that girls swoon over. The guy with a heart so cold, he would laugh in the face of someone's insecurities.

This time, though, Kade had gone too far.

What if the most rudest, arrogant, popular, and most beautiful man in your school took your diary? What if he read every thought, every bare emotion, and every word of it? What if, in the venture to get it back, you begin to see the real man behind the cold, hard exterior, the real you, and the real truth?

"What the hell?! Kennedy!" I watch as Ryder turns around furiously and strides towards me. Oh oh. Maybe I took it too far... "What's wrong with you?! Did you really have to cover my car in pink sticky notes?!" He steps towards me and I take a step back. He steps forward again and I step back until I'm up against the wall. "Well if you would have left me alone when I told you to, I wouldn't have had to do it," I fire back. He chuckles. "You don't know what you just got yourself into." "What do you mea--" I get cut off by his lips on mine. I freeze. What was happening? And why did it feel so good? Ryder grabs my waist and pulls me closer to him. I wrap my arms around his neck and tangle my fingers in his hair. He bites down on my bottom lip softly. As I was about to part my lips, he pulls away. "Better watch your back," he says. He smirks at me and then turns around to leave. What just happened? ____________________ Kennedy is not like most girls. Instead of getting her nails done and gossiping, she would rather ride her motorcycle or dive jump. She didn't have any friends back at her old school, but will that change when she attends a new one? She meets the bad boy of the school, Ryder. One harmless prank of pouring some pudding over his head starts a whole other war. They prank each other and start to realise that they might have feelings for the other person and the other person might have feelings for them. Will they use that knowledge to their advantage? __________________ Highest rank: #8- teen fiction 12/29/16 Thank you to MySecretDiary for the amazing cover!!

"He finally glances down, his eyes glowing from the setting sun. In his eyes was a sunset of its own, the browns and golds merging together in a captivating whirlpool. His eyes hold the weight of all his fears, raw for me to see. He always describes my eyes as the ocean, and I can't help but worry that his carry too much fear and sorrow for even the ocean to sweep away." A seemingly ordinary high school girl prefers to stay under the radar, blending into the background of her small-town world. But everything changes when the last person she ever expected-a boy with his own complicated story-starts paying attention to her in ways she never imagined. What begins as a quiet connection soon evolves into something that challenges their perceptions of love, life, and themselves. I hope you guys like it. ~Tess~💙 ✧*。 Then, slowly, he leaned in again, placing soft kisses along my neck. His lips were warm, sending shivers down my spine. One of his hands glided up my thigh, stopping to rest on my hip. His breathing grew heavier, matching mine. "You always have a sweet scent when I'm near you," he murmured against my skin. "Like vanilla and cinnamon." His teeth grazed a sensitive spot on my neck, and I hummed involuntarily. My legs pressed together, trying to stifle the ache building between them. He was making me feel things I hadn't felt before-things I wasn't sure I could control. "I should-" I started, my voice faltering as I tried to regain control. "I should get you something to sober up." I quickly slipped off the table, putting space between us, but he was faster. His hand caught my wrist, and before I knew it, he had me pinned against the wall. "So?" His voice was low, almost a growl. "Must I always stay sober? I don't want anything... just you."
