The sidewalks weren't occupied by anyone else at all, obviously seeing with how early it was. Though, the occasional car passing by wasn't an uncommon sight to Michael the longer he walked. 'If I'm lucky, one of those cars will run me over', Michael thought dejectedly to himself.
