Annidiea (Anna-die-uh) is a girl who has been shushed, yelled at, and abused all her life. To battle this, she developed a wall of distrust, quiet, and sarcasm. To battle the violence, she taught herself to fight.

When Annidiea is fifteen, she is adopted (she's an orphan) by an FBI agent looking to keep his cover. What better way to do this than adopt a teenage girl?
