After spending the last three years traveling the world and using her mutant powers for the greater good, Lyra has returned to Xavier's School to learn how to unlock the extent of her powers and see the only family she has left.

Only days after her return, she comes home from the movies, with one of her best friends Jean, to see the school in flames, all of the students standing on the front lawn. Who Lyra didn't expect to see outside of the school, was Peter Maximoff.

Their reunion was cut short when they were kidnapped by government officials, being locked in a facility while their professor is in the hands of Apocalypse and Magneto.

Peter and Lyra must work together, along with the other X-Men, to get their old friend Charles back and rebuild their relationship.
