What was the root of Lord Voldemort's evil? Surely no one is born with such a black soul and absence of love. There must have been a reason Tom Riddle robbed his victims of all hope, why he had the blood of so many innocent unsuspecting people on his hands.
And there was, for Tom Riddle had lost the only person he had ever felt attached to leaving him with a wound in his heart big enough to make the once compassionate Tom Riddle to lose all sense of empathy and sanity.
