Ingrid Burnett was one of the founding mothers of the Eunomia Project in 1963 which was to test the prowess of their respective fields. Ingrid felt that there were prominent factions vital for sustainability, survivability, and safeguarding the children of the Today. The Eunomia Project is a societal project that throws child prodigies in certain fields and with rules given, the children are to fight for survival.

Overseeing the project was not Ingrid herself, it was a man simply known by the alias Boss, her benefactor in making sure that the project would see through. Boss is apparently still around today and his true intentions for having Ingrid run the project is still unknown.

This is when Ava Kincaid comes in - bright, ethereal and curious. Thrown into the Society, Ava wants to unravel the dark hidden secrets and even unmask the mysterious Boss Man. In doing so, Ava looks to overthrow the appointed mayor, Markus Conway. Brainwashed by the beliefs of his father and raised to be the perfect mayor in the Society, Markus won't budge and is the opposing force in the Society that stops Ava from gathering the answers she needs.

However, the answers she finds might be more than she bargained for.
