The Ark was destroyed and with it, the threat of the Flood for the Galaxy. The Covenant splintered and disordered. Humanity now has the chance to rebuild and strike back against anyone that may threaten them again. But it came at a price with the Sacrifice of the men and women of the UNSC. One of them being the last of the Humans to stay and fight to give the others a chance to escape. Sargent Major Avery Johnson was one of those men. he fought and died to destroy the Ark. But... he didn't. Our War Veteran wakes from the brink of death to find himself in a new world, in a new Galaxy. in a new war that he didn't need to fight in. Yet when a small village is about to be destroyed by robots... he just can't refuse. But war always catches on, burning all it touches. Episode 1: Inserted into Alagaesia, Running from the Empire, The Varden, Battle of Farthen Dur, The Shade's master, A New Leader for the Varden, Travelling to Du Weldenvarden. I believe that seeing more than 60 parts in a story makes the readers (or at least me as a reader) feel uncomfortable so I'm dividing in different Episodes: At the Beors, At Du Weldenvarden, The Beggining of the Invasion, New Allies, etc. I'm trying to keep the word count per chapter at 2000 but I can't always divide the chapters smoothly so there may be some parts with 3000 to 7000 words. I suggest to read each chapter entirely to get a better grasp of the plot. Also, there are some scenes of bloodshed and fight, YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED. There may be some scenes not for children but not until, at least, chapter 35, Episode 3 or 4. Updates once or twice a week. Also gramatical correction of the already posted chapters.
