The Ark was destroyed and with it, the threat of the Flood for the Galaxy. The Covenant splintered and disordered. Humanity now has the chance to rebuild and strike back against anyone that may threaten them again. But it came at a price with the Sacrifice of the men and women of the UNSC. One of them being the last of the Humans to stay and fight to give the others a chance to escape. Sargent Major Avery Johnson was one of those men. he fought and died to destroy the Ark. But... he didn't. Our War Veteran wakes from the brink of death to find himself in a new world, in a new Galaxy. in a new war that he didn't need to fight in. Yet when a small village is about to be destroyed by robots... he just can't refuse. But when Magic aliens start swinging swords of light and lifting stuff with their minds, things may just get a little weird but our War Hero will create an unbalance that the Galaxy has yet to know is coming.

When Destiny Burns, Ep. 1: A Halo and Inheritance Cycle Crossover
After an UNSC fleet fell prey to an ancient Forerunner scheme, a lone Spartan is left stranded in a world that he doesn't understand. He gets himself inadvertently bonded to a dragon, marking him as a pawn in a new conflict. He must fight for his life and overcome his own nature to gain allies in a world where nothing makes sense. But war always catches on, burning all it touches. Episode 1: Inserted into Alagaesia, Running from the Empire, The Varden, Battle of Farthen Dur, The Shade's master, A New Leader for the Varden, Travelling to Du Weldenvarden. I believe that seeing more than 60 parts in a story makes the readers (or at least me as a reader) feel uncomfortable so I'm dividing in different Episodes: At the Beors, At Du Weldenvarden, The Beggining of the Invasion, New Allies, etc. I'm trying to keep the word count per chapter at 2000 but I can't always divide the chapters smoothly so there may be some parts with 3000 to 7000 words. I suggest to read each chapter entirely to get a better grasp of the plot. Also, there are some scenes of bloodshed and fight, YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED. There may be some scenes not for children but not until, at least, chapter 35, Episode 3 or 4. Updates once or twice a week. Also gramatical correction of the already posted chapters. Halo: Star-Crossed (Being Written)
In a galaxy-wide war. For over 20 years, humanity has been on the defensive, surviving against the odds from a genocidal religious alien cult known as the Covenant. This story is a "what if scenario" and unique take on an idea that the creators of Halo original made for a draft to how Halo 2 was supposed to end during the designing phase of the videogames. (When Halo 2 was the "last game" and Halo 3 wasn't supposed to exist due to the current development schedules at the time). That idea being how Master Chief and Commander Miranda Keyes were supposed to have a "romantic relationship" at the end of the game, but scrapped it due to it making no sense for this to even happen. So, this story about this concept of an unlikely relationship with Master Chief and Commander Miranda Keyes and will recreate it to be more complex and expand this scrapped idea and potential make something of it. Ultimately, during the darkness of war, the time for companionship is an afterthought as time passes and chaos continues. Will this unlikely duo that being the legendary Spartan 2 Master Chief and UNSC Commander Miranda Keyes grow closer together against such darkness against the Covenant, or fall victim as many have before them.
