Many of thousands of years ago, lyed a battle between an argument of the Galra wanting to have food and power, but the Alteans wanting them to stay in their "place." One saying that was agreed to and won, was never to cross sides. However, that never appealed to Lance, a prince of Altea.
One night, he sneaks out to "experience" the Galra's home.
But what happens when he runs into a boy from the Galra's side?
Will they be rivals, like in history, or will there relationship be much more?
Will the battle, from hundreds of years ago return, once they realize their vibe?
Or will they allow their strong relationship?

Kathy(Keith's female name) is the princess of the Galra Empire who had been at war with another kingdom called, Altea. The only way for the war to be over is for the a heir from the Galra Empire marries the heir of the Altea kingdom. So, when Kathy's mother, Queen Krolia, tells Kathy that she'll have to marry the prince of the Altea kingdom, Kathy got so mad that she ran away. After almost getting kidnapped by the Galra group, which is a group that wants the Alteans gone, and getting saved by a boy named, Lance, Kathy finds out that the group took a royal heirloom that is really important for the good of the kingdom. So Kathy and Lance must go on a quest together to get the heirloom back with friends they meet along the way, but little did Kathy knew was that, Lance was the prince of the Altea kingdom, the person she has to married. Keith the half human half Galra finds himself as a guard to an Altean pain in the ass Prince. He cant show what he is or it will be the end of everything. Still he cant stick to the plan when he falls for the prince. What will he choose? Im really sorry I suck so bad at descriptions! Lance is fed up. In all his years, he has only known life inside the Castle of Lions. As he described it, a prison cell disguised as an extravagant home for the royal. He longs to get away, but his newly crowned sister, Allura, won't have it. So, against her younger brother's wishes, she hires a bodyguard to keep him 'safe' inside the castle. The Dark Crystal
In a world, a long, long time ago, lived a crystal. The lands flourished and bloomed until the crystal cracked, the shard lost to time. There came two races with the crystal cracked, the Skeksis and the Mystics. With both races dying, only one could save them. His name was Keith, the last known living Gelfling. He was the chosen one. And he has no clue. NOTE: This takes place in the Dark Crystal universe but still has my own twists to it. I'm basing this story solely off the movie and my own imagination. A few tidbits of knowledge that would make this story make a lil more since are: -This one-shot is only based off the movie, not the comics nor the upcoming (as of 2019) show. -All of the species named here (Gelfling, Skeksis, Mystics, Podlings) are all more humanoid than what is canon in the Dark Crystal movie but you can still image them as you wish. -The Skeksis are the Galra. (The Mystics AREN'T the Alteans though.) Image the Skeksis as more Galra-like or more Skeksis-like, do what fits your imagination. Earth is saved from the Galra, and the Paladins of Voltron are the heroes of the Galaxy Garrison, well all except for Keith. He'd been kicked out before the war, and they didn't want him back. He's alone again. Lance, Pidge, and Hunk are employed by the Garrison, Shiro leads missions off world, Allura and Coran are establishing a new world for the Alteans who'd survived, and the Blade don't need him. Keith works in a coffee shop and gets by the best he can, on the little money he earns. This story is loosely based on the paladins of Voltron. I have not watched all the seasons and have changed the backstory of some characters. I do not own any of the characters in this story, and I do not own any of the artwork.
