Sirens, or mermaids, are not some beautiful women that are described in fairy tales. They are actually the women tossed off of ships because they were thought of as 'bad luck.' They seek revenge, luring deserving men to watery graves.

Young Celeste Mortem, whose family had just been murdered, snuck aboard a ship for passage to France. She was discovered and tossed overboard, turning into a vicious siren in the water, swearing to seek revenge on the crew-mates of the ship and all those who have wronged her and her family.
