Damiano snarled, tossing the gun clip on the table. Inwardly a sigh escapes me, here we go again. I couldn't catch a break from him. Why can't they ever just have a normal dinner? Vincenzo squints, almost daring him to repeat himself. "You call her that again, and I swear to fucking God, Damiano-" Damiano didn't bother looking up. "You heard me. She's a weakness, and we can't afford that shit right now, not with the Bravata sniffing up our ass." Vincenzo didn't hesitate as he slammed his hand on the table, and suddenly grabbed the collar of Damiano's shirt, shoving him back into the wall so hard a frame dropped to the floor. "Shut your fucking mouth." He grits through his teeth. Damiano didn't flinch at all but his hands stayed down and his mouth clamped shut. "You forgot who the fuck I am?" Vince growled, deadly and murderous. "You think you're a man because you run your mouth? I don't care, brother or not, but if you come near her with that shit again, I will put you in the fucking ground." Damiano scoffed and turned his head away from Vincenzo's branding gaze in distaste. It's just as it says nobody wanted her. She didn't know why and thought maybe she never would. Maybe it was because she was different that she didn't look like anyone else. That she looked too much like them yet the others were afraid of her in the beginning. That she was different from them as well. She looked like an avatar like the blue people with her blue skin but she had purple hair and red eyes all natural. The only person that didn't fear her he took her in and made her apart of his family. He was already raising two other children on his own and no one was gonna be left behind. It wasn't a question but I answered anyway "Of course. They are family." "What if they don't feel the same way?" "Then that's understandable. They had their trust broken at a very early age by the people who were supposed to protect and love them. I have been very open with them and have told them several times that they are family to me now. I have also said that if they don't feel the same then that's okay.
