Everyone around her had some sort of magic, but they all were compatible with who they were. Molly's mother had died in a fire for Aglea's sake! (Note: Aglea is a goddess who's name just happens to resemble a Greek goddess. They're very different.) Jax was the son of a rich blacksmith, who shocked everyone by developing water powers, and strong ones at that. When the two meet, they go on a journey to save Molly's village from a witch who wants their magic for her own. If they can't stop her, her icy grip will smother the world.
