After the parliament of the goverment during the fourth world war, all hell broke loose. The goverment crumbled, and anarchy ensued. People from the office fell from their position, the president was assasinated, and several factions rose up amongst the chaos to claim the throne.

One of those factions, the Agnus Dei. Took over the goverment and ruled the wastelands of a once great country. In the ruins, a woman rises with the help of a few allies from the Agnus Dei itself to bring back the peace to the world she wanted to get back.

Far into the future of humankind, there existed a country named Panem, which occupied what was once North America. It consisted of thirteen districts and one cruel, powerful Capitol that ruled them. But after the rebellion of Katniss Everdeen, Panem became a scattered country of chaos and, after several years of struggling and failing to found a new government, wore away into extinction. One hundred years later, Panem rose up out of the ashes and conquered all of Europe, establishing their own land there and naming themselves New Panem. To honor the ways of their original country, New Panem brought back the Hunger Games and started where they had left off—the 76th Hunger Games. About 50 years later, New Panem is thriving. In District 4, 12-year-old Sandi Coin (a descendant of President Coin) is living the good life—until her first reaping. When Sandi gets chosen to participate in the 130th Hunger Games, she knows her life is going to turn upside-down—and come to its end. And as she travels around the Capitol to participate in the events before the Games, Sandi finds herself in the midst of many odd characters—an over-enthusiastic mentor, a grumpy stylist, a murderous accompanying tribute, three kind friends, a cute boy, and a hostile group of killers—who are not who they seem to be. Meanwhile, Sandi faces problems of her own during and before the Games, and soon she is not sure who she really is. Will she be able to survive the horrifying Hunger Games, or will she let her troubles lead her to her doom? Entry for the #asawritcon

A promised land meant to self-destruction in a glimpse, a brainwashed society led by a corrupted government: this is what, thirty years after the Exodus, Heavensgate has become in the eyes of its citizens. They long wished to obtain prosperity after an excruciating journey to their brand new motherland across the seas. As the city of all dreams transforms into a nightmare, the pursuit of happiness has a price high to pay. The path to becoming an accomplished artist is paved with hardships and challenges to be accounted among the best of the best. Kim has been walking through his college years in art school seamlessly, unconcerned about politics in general, until he gets enrolled unwillingly in an opposition activism known as the Dreamers, which may turn upside down his vision of society. Legends passed on from generation to generation tell the story of the Birdmen, a tribe of mythical creatures half-bird, half-human who found shelter in the wilderness of the Unknown Lands. Livingston, their ambassador, travels to Heavensgate to warn its leaders of the upcoming danger that looms over the city. Shot in flight when reaching destination, he meets with a gentle soul willing to help him in his mission. © 2014, PaulaSpectacles
