In 1987 a married couple, Joey and Maria, moved into a mansion house. They were due to have a baby girl together, but somehow something about that house didn't make them feel right and they didn't want their daughter to be at risk. They had no money left, and there was only one thing to do and that was to put her up for adoption. Maria found a nice home for the baby with a family called the Andrews. A few months after, Maria and Joey died. There was no traces of their death, but their blood curdling screams could be heard form miles away.
After the death of her parents twenty three years on, Charlotte trained to be a Paranormal Specialist. She wanted to find out how and why her parents died. Along the way, she meets Alec, a journalist who is also interested in the 1987 killing.
Will Charlotte find out what happened? Or will she end up like her parents?...

Boys and girls all different in their own aspects. They didn't like me and I didn't like them, which was fine. Miss Huld, the owner, seemed to like me enough and that was all I needed. Things changed, though. They found a dead body on our property and everyone scrambled to lock the doors and bar the windows. The normal kids at school all started to edge away from us, from me in particular. They called us witches and devil worshippers. They were scared they might be next. I couldn't keep my nose out of where it didn't belong and then everyone was involved in the mystery. A mother and her son. They were both too young to die, the mother only being 34 and the son only being 16. No one understood why anyone would want to kill the little family, who's been through hell and back after the father walked out on them. He took all the money forcing them to move into the tiny home. Even then, they were still positive about things until... The terrifying day took place. No one has ever moved into the house since then, considering all the rumors going around about the son haunting the cottage. His first sighting being a few months after the murder and since then there's been many reports of his shadowy figure in the windows. Teenagers often explored the place but as soon as they were out of the house, they never went back inside. - Zach Herron, aged 17, now ready to move into a house of his own. After being under his parents watchful eye for years, he's ready to finally walk on his own two feet. He could've moved out at 16, legal age in England, but decided against it but now he was prepared. The cottage seemed like a fitting place for him to stay, he's seen the reviews about it being 'haunted' but paid no mind to it. [This story was written and finished a long time ago, meaning it's completely awful and I highly regret writing it now. I won't stop you from reading if you so desperately want to for whatever reason but please be mentally prepared to cringe multiple times.]Complete
