On the western coastline of the main continent, two desperately fleeing tribes flee deep into the heart of the southern mountains to escape a terrible tragedy - but more perilous times await them there, and old bitter relations threaten to sour further.
The Ember tribe has now been forced to abandon their original home, on the Isle of Ember. Now settling in the harsh Hephcanan Desert, beside the Oasis of Awinita, the tribe try to continue to survive under a new leadership.
In these desperate times, there is yet more tragedy to come, as silent deities of this chaotic world watch on.
