Jake is a 17 year old who lives in the small town of Harold Bluffs, born an only son to a fair family. He is a typical kind of guy, and doesn't really excel at anything aside from remembering things unusually well. 
Sometime during his life, however, he woke up to something very strange: A house that doesn't look like his, parents that look vaugely different from his own, an older brother, and a different name - Thomas.

Since then, he has been living on and off as both Jake and Thomas, keeping the existence of his two lives a secret to lay low. Over the years he began asking himself questions: Why is this happening? How? And is he alone?

This is an ongoing rewrite to a book of mine under the same title, "Winning The Race Against Time". The book itself has been completed having been written from the 7th of September, 2017 through the 2nd of November, 2018, with 300 pages over 41 chapters worth of content I have the feeling I can improve. 

Chapters will come out roughly every once in two weeks, likely a shorter time depending on how much free time I have on my hands.

Before you read the description of my book, I want to give a few quick disclaimers. The first one is that most of the chapters aren't very long, so the 60 chapters isn't as intimidating to read as it may seem. the world is told to be fright. and the inside is not much better, safe from whatever is outside. but this boy, Jake, does not believe it completely, could be one of the government's lies to keep them contained. then things start to change, things that turn for the worse. Jake is more determined then ever to escape this hell will he succeed or fall as others have before? (there is no sexual context in any way, but there is gruesome death and consistent swearing, but No sexual content is present. this is a book inspired by "the girl with all the gifts" and "maze runner" if you like those books, this is a suggested book for me.)
