Rickie and Michael live in a world at war. WWIII is ongoing, the USA has been destroyed, and the area known as the country before have become what is known as sectors. Every major city became its own, and small towns banded together to make their own. Rickie and Michael are a married gay couple who adopted a young boy. Every single year, on their anniversary, something always happens. Sometimes good, sometimes bad, and other times it's a mix. This is the story of those days.

Broken Boundaries
A while ago the question of what if an alien is so cute, a straight guy can't help but still fall in love depite the alien being male, came to me. And of course, the idea for a new story was born soon thereafter. This is the result, my latest novel set in the science fiction Aoyu Universe as of this writing, and the first (and at this time only) gay/bisexual romance themed story that I've written. --- During the Earth-Silth conflicts, two commanders of opposing warships played a game of chicken at one of the outer known solar systems, the result being a head-on collision and two ships fused together at the bows. After the cease fire agreement plans were made to salvage what they could from the ships and Alain from Earth was sent as part of a two man crew to recover components from the Earth vessel while a team from the Silth would handle theirs. After their first failed attempt called operation Barbarossa , they took their time and held a meeting to solve and create a solid plan and strategy to overcome their mistake . The plan was terrifyingly successful leading for the Soviet Union to surrender and signed a treaty with the nazi Germany. On the Pacific , Japan empire struggled facing the allied forces , fortunately with the defeat of the allied forces in Europe . The morale of the allies soldiers greatly decreased thus resulting in defeat . Fascists Italy has made an improvement on their military techniques and weapons , causing for the invasion of Africa easier and successful . The war has ended . Next , comes the part that everyone hates ; to improve and fix the damages that has happened to their country . Facing the economic crisis and starvation , unemployment and crimes rate . Soviet Union was totally wrecked by third Reich , their military was reduced and replaced by the German's , German's bases was set up and new way of governing was created . Soviet was angered but accepted it in the end , there's nothing he could do . The united states and the great Britain was quiet , the other super power was unable to do anything . Europe has fallen into the grasp of Third Reich , Africa is in Fascist Italy hand and Japan empire controlled the southeast asian countries . They thrived . (Kinda toxic relationships , power couple.
