These are a collection of Friday Night Dinner shorts-I am so obsessed with the series and wanted to play around with the amazing characters and story lines.
Every short would be one 'Friday Night Dinner' on the show if I haven't mentioned otherwise!
Really hope you enjoy reading these as much as I did writing them.

Maeve Travinson went to the same school, the same synagogue and the same play group as Johnny Goodman. They had lived in each other's childhoods and had sleep-overs in each other's beds for longer than either of them could remember. By ten, Maeve had declared Johnny her best friend in the whole world. Now she was twenty five, and he was twenty six, and something unexpected pushes them under the same roof. This book starts on the second episode of season three and I have obviously made up the dates written at the start of every 'New Friday' so that the chronology is easy to track. The plot of any episode used will not be identical to the original script, as I have added in Maeve as a character. Here are short stories (really short ones) that I wrote years back. I won't say when I was younger, because it was only three/two years back. However some are very recent. So like say the title don't judge me. Please excuse any grammatical errors, English is not my first language. (I speak French, but I am fluent in English). Hope you enjoy! Book 6 in the It just Happened Series. (Can be a stand alone but to better understand it read Never Say Never.) Love is supposed to be grand. No one prepares you for the heartache and pain. Not in the manner that they should. I had it all! The perfect husband. Johnny, he was everything a woman could dream of. Until I lost him, then my whole world shattered once again. Then there is River Fox the one person who will just not leave. He made a promise to Johnny, one he will not let go of. When all I need is for him to do exactly that. He infuriates me to no end! I just can't get him out of my mind, and it kills me! Loss... Pain... Raising a child on my own, it's all too much. "Katrina." He never calls me by my name.
