The powerful wizard Arise had died a mysterious death. He had left behind a message prior to his death that the way he would die would never be of natural means. This hinted that something or someone else would be behind his death. Upon further investigation of his death, it was confirmed to be true that it really wasn't of natural means. Arise's message contained a riddle. He seem to have known how he would die. In his message, he specified that he wanted his student Sunrise to have the quest to find who or what killed him. Sunrise sets out on her new quest and she discovers something shocking.
