"Did you ever love me? Was there ever an ounce of heartfelt warmth and genuine butterflies?" "I'd be lying to you in cold blood if I said no. So I'm going to lie and say no." Lies. They're in everyone's nature. They're a blessing and curse in disguise - they only happen when we need an excuse to cover our motives. Aurora Hart has never understood the concept of lying. She lives by the rules -exactly the way she was taught. She lives a boring life: there's nothing extraordinary to remember. Ironically enough, she's living a black and white lie. She doesn't believe in the supernatural, or the superheroes, either. But can she discover that there's colours outside her bubble? In order to overcome her fears, she has to overcome her lies. Read through her life to discover the idea of lies, heartbreak and extraordinary colours. Worst of all, she's going to have to experience Redview High's notoriously infamous 'it' boys. Evelyn is okay. She's at the top of her class, a Wattpad writer, and a rising star on YouTube. She's also a liar. Her parents fight all the time, but she tells her friends everything is fine. She lies to herself about the guy at school. On the night her life changed forever, she told herself what was probably her biggest lie ever: I'm okay. The truth is, she's not. Things are falling apart and beginning to come out. She's barely keeping it together. Can she make it through when her lies begin to catch up to her? --- Warning: This story contains mentions of sexual harassment which, though not graphic, could potentially be triggering to some who have experienced similar or worse situations.
