Kizzura Tembrook lives in a universe where nothing is as it seems. On Shierra, things work differently, survival is based on brains, and how gullible you are. People who don't pass the graduation exam are considered a waste of resources, rendered useless to the government and are killed in an instant. Those who do pass are sentenced to a lifetime of computers, programming, engineering, and bitter tasting protein pellets, and no one has ever managed to escape this fate. Until Kizzura.
