You are just an average inkling in Inkopolis Square, when you notice a strange person who changes your life.
This story begins in Splatoon 2, but I will mark in the chapter list when the story jumps to Splatoon 3 for those of you who want to jump straight to that point instead.

(new story cover) SUMMARY : the story of a human surviving the rising water that brought humanity into extinction . and now our friend discovers a world full of marine creatures dominating it . and with that , he begins his adventure in a new world , and lives a new life . STORY FORMAT : ACT 01 : the fall of mankind . chapter(s) : the disaster . ACT 02 : into the new world . chapter(s) : waking up - the squidbeak splatoon's new agent . ACT 03 : settling in . chapter(s) : a sleepover , a confession , and a job search - 'to be announced' . ACT 04 (final) : 'to be announced' . chapter(s) : 'to be announced' . I will now be posting everything unedited and unfinished for the sake of not feeling bad about the "talent" that middle school me felt when writing this. I wrote this because I couldn't find a good Splatoon 2 fanfic and decided I'd do it myself, I still use that kind of motivation to write things like music now 💀 Eyyy, so i was playing Squid Splat earlier and felt inspired! Reader is female in this book! (Sorry to you guys...i might make a gender bend? Idk) THIS IS A STORY! YES A STORY!! Yaaay!~ Anyway uh Y/n = Your name Blah blah blah... Y/n isn't like most inklings. She can still turf and fight and do what most inklings do, but what makes her stand out is her colors. Her colors aren't like other inklings you see in Inkopolis. Like Marie and Pearl. Her hair color is white and changes color depending on what she wants and almost always changes her hair style. She also changes eye color constantly. So sometimes no one even recognizes her. She heard of rumors of the old subway station and she's seen another inkling who's told her that he's an agent...agent 4, near what seems to be a sewer?
