Texas Love!

I walked out the studio with a headache from a long day working and having my producer and my manager on my back all day because i decided to write my own songs for my upcoming album. i got in my truck and decided to stop and pick up somethings at ace on my way home. i walked in just like i had everytime since i left my job here. i walked through the store and found that they had moved stuff since i was here last so now i need to find someone to tell me where to find what i need. i looking around i found a new employee,

i walked up to her and said "excuse ma'am where are the brooms now?"

"umm I'm not sure i haven't been here long but I'm sure i can find them, just follow me"

somehow the first time i saw her face the long day i had slipped away and i had a smile on my face for the first time today.

she says "is there anything else i can help you with today?"

i smiled a bit and said "i think this is all for today, thank you!" she smiled then turned and walked back to the aisle she was stocking.

6 months later.
i walk in ace and find Alex. i had finally thought of the perfect pick up line so i walked up to Alex and said

"hey your the girl with the classic Camaro right?"

she turns around with a hugh smile and says "Easton!" then jumps in my arms, i caught her and said "so was i right?"

she laughs "yea I'm the girl with the classic Camaro" i sat her down.

"alright Easton I've gotta get back to work"

i smile "so would you maybe wanna go get some dinner Friday night?"

she looks at me a little funny "i don't know....i do have tomorrow off........"

i smile "i won't take no for an answer"

she grinned "alright Corbin i'll go.......but no where too fancy for cowboy boots and nice jeans"

i laughed "alright miss Morgan no where to fancy for cowboy boots and nice looking jeans and i'll pick you up at 6" she smiled and with that i left the store and headed home.
