Leah always thought she knew what was right. She thought that the events during the Great Fall were simply black and white.
Everyone thought the Others had left and weren't coming back. They thought that they could finally live in peace.
Leah and everyone else were wrong. Leah realized when she read the mind of an Other scout. They realized when the ship appeared over their heads once again. All Leah wants to do is find out the truth. All Leah wants is to figure out what exactly went wrong all those years ago.
What's even worse is that now everyone knows she's one of the Hunted. Can Leah figure out the past while also being on the run?

Imagine the second you're born, a consultant removes you from your mother's grasp and runs a battery of genetic and physiological tests on you. Thirty minutes later they give you a score out of one hundred which denotes your level of perfection. It usually ends with the reliths dying. Even if they made it through the experiments, they had to suffer with the beatings they received to make them tougher .
