Crystal Eyes

For the longest time, I have lived in fear of that wall of darkness that lies before me. There was no way I could see beyond it, only a pitch black abyss that leads to who knows where. That was until I took my eyes away for just a moment. That brief moment where I looked at you, and you looked at me with those crystal eyes, that what when I tripped. I tripped and fell into that abyss, thinking that this would be the end of me. But beyond this, there was light. You showed me this light. You were that light.
