Imagine being transported from one country to another in just a blink of a eye. Now imagine not knowing anyone who spoke a foreign language, a language you would soon have to learn fluently. Lastly, imagine knowing that your neighbor's son is a well-known killer who goes by the name of Kira. But you won't find out that information until it is too late. For now, let us look in the eyes of a nineteen year old female who has lived in Tokyo, Japan since she was four years old. This woman's name is Evageline Lilly, a private detective for the Japanese Task Force. No one knows her true name as she goes by El except for her family. Let's take a look into her life, shall we?
