"Let's just get this over with" The lowlife said a little irritated because i was giving him a hard time. He was sitting on opposite side of the kitchen table, trying to make me do some homework that I didn't have time for. I needed to be spending this time with Nathaniel not him. "No" I said firmly and then my lips curved into a slight smirk. I leaned back into my seat and crossed my arms to show him that I wasn't going to compile. "Did you just say no to me, Roxie?" he said with narrow eyes as he slowly stood up from his chair. "Yes and didn't I tell you to not call me Roxie!" i snapped at him. He just stared at me with his narrow slits and then his facial expression turned into a small smirk. As if he figured something out. He pushed his chair back and started to walk straight towards me. When he got to me, he pushed all the books that were in front of me on the floor in one swift motion. I didn't flinch. He couldn't hurt me so why care. He took hold of the arm rests of my rolling chair and and moved my position from the table to be in front of him. He started to lean towards me. Soon his face was inches away from mine like he was about to kiss me. He changed coarse. "What happened to you doing your part" he whispered into my ear. His low mellow voice brought chills down my spine. "Nathaniel said-" "I don't give a Fuck about what he said Roxie." he whispered again. "Listen Roxanne, if you don't play your part..." he said as he came back to face me. "..I will make sure that your world comes crashing down. Hard." he said in a firm thick voice as he looked at my lips. Then his eyes flicked to mine. My hands were clammy, his body heat was radiating off him, and my heart was pounding like a drum in my chest. All of a sudden he moved away from me to stand up straight and then left the kitchen. All Rights Reserved
