Victoria of Lyham is a girl of about 18. Her father is on the kings council but her parents didn't want to raise her in the castle. She was being raised by her mother until she died. Now her grandmother is caring for her, or more like Victoria is caring for her grandmother. After her grandmother's death, will she find a new life at the castle, or even better yet- will she find love?

Life in a Castle isn't always like fairy tales put them to be, with happy endings and falling in love with the perfect guy and Emily learns that the hard way when she was kidnapped by some of these people living in the castle, problem is they are not people they are the undead, ghosts of those who had died horrible deaths, those who are forced with one man who is more evil then the man named Evil himself. Emily William's was the only girl that could see and hear these creatures, and on her 16th birthday they had kidnapped her. Now she lives her life in a castle with a bunch of these creatures, but she is not the royal family, she's their maid and she must work for them. Day and night Emily wishes that someone will find her. But what happens when everyone in your home town thinks you're dead, will you lose all hope and perish with the creatures that once tried to kill you, or will your heart and soul never want to leave the light of day.
