Shield Maiden

To fight is to serve; the greatest duty one can accomplish. To die is to be well regarded as a warrior. To be slain in battle, having overcome countless foes, wading through the mud and blood, mixed so closely you cannot tell one from another; is to rest among your fallen brethren, called to partake of the riches and splendor of the mead hall, Alföðr Odin's reward for these choice warriors.
