Dragons have roamed the kingdom of Thedia since the beginning of time, destroying towns and villages, stealing livestock, torching crops, and just wrecking havoc on the kingdom's people. After three hundred years, the then King Xavix decided it was time to put an end to their reign of terror, and he formed what is now known as the Dragon Hunters, an elite group of knights and noblemen - including Xavix himself - charged with protecting Thedia from the dragons, and killing any dragon that poses a threat to the kingdom.
Now, ten centuries later, the Dragon Hunters still protect the kingdom from the dragons. The lands are flourishing, the livestock are thriving, the people are living peacefully in the many towns and villages of Thedia. It is a land of peace and sanctuary.
There are 3 main concepts everyone in Thedia knows:
1. Only the strongest, bravest of men can become Dragon Hunters.
2. Dragons are the people of Thedia's biggest enemy.
3. Dragons are ruthless, dangerous creatures hell bent on destruction.
But what happens when Thedia's princess, Raelynn, forms an an unbreakable bond with an injured dragon she discovered in the forest? Who can she trust with a secret as big as this? And most importantly, how can she prove to all of Thedia that everything they knew about dragons, was wrong?

Evil killer dragons in the mountains, a folks tail or just a simple bedtime story the hunters would tell the towns folk. How much of it was true?
With no hard evidence or no one ever seen these dragons apart from smoke without fire and a few roars that would echo through the Kingdom, everyone had their own story and opinion.
'If the beasts are real, they don't bother us so we don't bother them.' The king would tell everyone. That was until his daughter goes missing and is assumed eating and killed by the dragons.
