My mom trusted me to keep my promise....I was 13 and in middle school at the time. The day before my 15th birthday, I have sex with my best friend's brother, which got me pregnant. My life is ruined because of that baby. I'm way too young to be a mom. And, worst of all, I broke my promise. Here goes a period of interesting but horrible events that changes my life forever...

............ "Will you agree to be my surrogate?" I dropped my fork, its clatter echoing in the quiet restaurant, and looked at him, my eyes widening in disbelief. Is he crazy? What gave him the idea that I would do that? The flickering candlelight on the table seemed to dance in sync with my racing thoughts. No... no... no, he's got to be kidding. I might be in trouble for sleeping on the job, but I couldn't agree to that. The thought of getting pregnant and giving up a part of me sent a shiver down my spine. I knew some people do it, but I don't think I could, especially with my parents always video calling me. Their prying eyes would probably notice that I'm not myself.
